Même en Euroligue sur un F4, on voit des trucs délirants dans la gestion des matchs :
- Sopron dans le bonus, McBride va prendre un tir impossible au lieu d'agresser pour chercher des LF, Vandersloot juste avant prend un tir à 3pts rapide qui ne s'imposait pas non plus.
- et sur la dernière possession de Sopron, Yakin Dogu a une faute à donner mais ne la fait pas et se prend un tir à 3pts qui termine le match.
On pourrait ajouter à cela le fait que Yakin Dogu décide de jouer petit en première mi-temps (alors qu'elles ont un secteur intérieur qui est fait pour dominer, encore faut-il correctement servir les joueuses concernées) face à une équipe qui joue plus sur la mobilité et la vitesse.

Final Preview : Will Sopron complete the fairytale by toppling UMMC ?
The atmosphere promises to be incredible for this season's title game in Sopron as they step out against favorites UMMC in their first-ever EuroLeague Women Final.

There were tears of joy on and off the court on Friday night after that pulsating Semi-Final win, which was the biggest in the long EuroLeague Women history of Sopron. Everybody wrote them off and yet they just keep getting up and knocking down their bigger opponents. After dumping out Fenerbahçe in the Quarter-Finals and then Yakin Dogu Universitesi, this is the ultimate test against a UMMC team. One that many are describing as Champions in waiting. But, pressure can weigh heavily and with nothing to lose and some momentum behind them, will Sopron deliver what would arguably be the biggest upset ever in a Final ?

Tina Jovanovic and Brittney Griner has to be the one to watch. It's an unsung hero against a WNBA superstar. The Serbian got into foul trouble in the Semi-Finals and will do well to avoid that happening against the towering and imposing presence of Griner, who many will expect to dominate. Not least after she made that statement of intent with the dunk against Dynamo Kursk. But don't write Jovanovic off. She has helped Sopron enormously throughout their spectacular run to this Final. Even more impressively, in her maiden EuroLeague Women campaign.

Is there any way that Sopron can disrupt the rhythm of Maya Moore and Alba Torrens, who could feasibly take the game away from the Hungarian side quickly if they get going early ?

UMMC are gunning for a fourth EuroLeague Women title and that would pull them level with their former great rivals Sparta&K M.R Vidnoje who won theirs consecutively between 2007-2010 !

Ekat joue avec beaucoup de calme et de maitrise. De l'autre côté on sent que Sopron a laissé pas mal de jus (physiquement et nerveusement) dans sa 1/2 finale.

Ekaterinbourg remporte (72-53) son 4ème titre européen face à Sopron.
Emma Meesseman (19pts, 9rbds, 5pds, 1int, 27 d'éval.) élue MVP du match !!!!
